Blue and Purple Look Using Jessie's Girl!

I recently bought a few new pigments from Rite Aide and I am in LOVE with them!  They are Jessie's Girl pure pigment eye dust eyeshadows.  The ones I bought were Troublemaker, Secret Weapon, Ultraviolet, Sunlit Cactus, Rouge Flambe, Pixie Dust, HiHo Silver, and Peek-A-Boo.  I will post swatches of each one that I received in a later blog.

I put together this eye look using Troublemaker, Secret Weapon, Ultraviolet, and Peek-A-Boo.  I also used a dark purple color from the BH Cosmetics 120 Palate 2nd Edition to deepen the crease.  Here's the look I came up with!

My eyes look sooo wierd here!!

I put Troublmaker all over the lid (after using NYX Cosmetics JEP in Milk as a base) then put ultraviolet on the outer corner and above the crease.  I used Peek-A-Boo to transition to my highlight shade.  I also used Secret Weapon (my fav) in my inner tearduct.  I used the darkest purple shade in the BH Cosmetics palate to deepen the crease.  I absolutely loved this look!  Especially with the hot pink lips (another thing I NEVER do).

And now I will show you my favorite pic that I editied.  Just because.. :P
P.S. I love Photobucket.

So this is my most recent look!  I will be doing more looks with these pigments later on and will share each one with you guys!!  Next blog will be the swatches of each pigment using different bases.

Nail of the Day and Better Pics from the Acid Look

Just a quick post I thought I'd share with you guys!

This is my nail of the day, namely so because I typically change my polish every 2-3 days.  I used ORLY Liquid Vinyl as the base color and put KleanColor Sugar Coat over it.  The outcome was beautiful!  Unfortunately, the camera didn't pick up the sparkles as well as I would have liked it to, but it was still beautiful none the less.

Here's the nails:

I absolutely hate my camera.. I can't wait to be able to afford a new one.. D:

Oh and I found a picture that better showed the makeup look from the Acid Look I posted yesterday!

These showed off the colors WAY better and you can see the purple glitter liner!!

I've done at least two more looks that I want to post on here, but I am in the process of editing the pictures to see if I can get the colors to pop better.  See you guys in the future!

My Babies!!

As promised, here is some pictures of my babies!

I will start with my frogs.  They are White's Dumpy Tree Frogs.. The first pic is of Frogette, my female.  The others are of my male, Frogger.  Names are courteousy of my daughter!

Next, my kitties!!  Azura is a Dilute Grey/White Calico/Tortoishell.  Nocturnal is a DSH solid black cat.  Not a single white fur on her.  They are both very beautiful and sweet kitties!

This is my fiance, Jeremy, holding a cat we had at one time, his name was Bear.  He was a solid black cat with a bobtail!  I miss that kitty!

And last but not least, there is my beautiful little girl, Kathryn!  She's 5 years old and drives me insane most days!  I wouldn't change her for the world!

These people and animals make up my life!  I love them all and would not change them all for the world!

My Version of the Acid Look

I had recently run across a look that I thought was very interesting and wanted to try.  This is my first REAL experiment with colors (ie, no browns or neutrals).  Here's what I came up with!
This picture showed off the colors the best I think!  There was lime green and dark blue on the lower lashline, yellow, orange, and pink on the lid (in that order), and purple in the crease.  I also added a bit of glitter flare to it using WarPaints Purple Glitter Liner over my regular Black Gel liner from HIP.

Those four pictures was taken with a LG Optimus S so the colors are completely washed out!  I was sooo disappointed with the picture quality!

Kitty all up in my picture.. :P  That is my baby girl Azura!  I will be posting a blog later about my animals and family!

This final picture is my favorite.  It shows off the colors very well!  Let me know what you guys think!  I would appreciate the feedback!  Also if you have any suggestions I would be glad to attempt the looks!

Most of the colors came from the BH Cosmetics Second Edition 120 Color palate.

Modern Pinup

So one day I decided to do a modern Pinup look.  Personally I think this is one of my favorite looks that I've done.  It turned out well considering it was my first attempt at this kind of look!  This was also when my hair was turning copper after dying it burgundy.  I hated that the burgundy faded!  Anyway, here's a few photos of the look!

There was only a few that I had that actually showed off the makeup in the crease.. These were it.. Sorry they weren't better pictures!!

Overall, I really think this look turned out well!! This is also one of my earlier experiments with makeup so I'm sure that I will post better pictures later on!

The palate that I used was the BH Cosmetics 120 Color Palate Second Edition.
