Update and New Look!!

Hello there my fellow beauty loves.  It has been a long time since I posted anything new!  I have been incredibly busy with school and my lovely 6-year-old daughter, and haven't had too much time to put into my blog.  Well, here I am!! I'm back in action!!!  I have been experimenting with makeup and different hairstyles over the past 6 months and have a few to share with you.  The first look I would like to share is one that I did a few months ago.  It's a gothic look using the Revlon Diamond Lust eye shadows in Neptune Star and Plum Galaxy.  I paired this look with a black lip to increase the Gothic appeal.

This picture was edited to further contrast the shadows.  The next photos were not edited, and shows the colors and sparkle better.

The flash on my phone is an LED flash and tends to make my face paler in comparisson to how it truly looks in real life.  However, the colors came out magnificently.  I used the Plum Galaxy on my lid and Neptune Star in the crease.  I did apply a basic highlight to help blend out the edges of the Neptune star.  On the lower lid I used a black eyeshadow to define the lower lid.

Over all I am EXTREMELY impressed with the Revlon Diamond Lust shadows.  They stayed very well for a long period of time without creasing terribly.  They had a great glitter pay off that helped to add shine to this look.

This next look I did was very interesting.  I used a Jessie's girl eyeshadow by the name of Troublemaker on the lid, then used a brown shadow in the crease for definition.  This shadow also stayed well all day without creasing.  Here is the look I came up with.

These pictures could have been better, however I didn't take them as I should have.  I wasn't thinking of my blog at the time and I do apologize for that.  I will be making better pictures of my makeup looks as I do them.

I have one last look I would like to share with you guys.  This one is one I wore yesterday to the Oktoberfest festival in Martinsville.

In this look I used L'oreal's Infallible Eye shadow in Perpetual Purple on the lid, a periwinkle purple in the crease (and a bit above the crease) and a black shadow in the outter v and deep crease to darken and define.  I also used a black shadow on the lower lid to help define my eyes.  Perpetual Purple is a color that I absolutely ADORE!!  It's very shimmery and has a hint of blue duochrome in it.

I hope you guys enjoyed these looks.  I will be posting another blog soon, possibly later tonight or tomorrow on a natural look perfect for a job interview.  I will see you soon!!! XoXo
